Gates Ventures responds

On the other hand, a spokesperson for Gates Ventures told the WSJ that while he had not heard of such questions being asked by Concentric Advisors, “a line of inquiry would be unacceptable and would violate Gates Ventures’ contract with the contractor.”

“During our more than 15-year history, we have never received information from any salesperson or interviewee that inappropriate questions were asked during the screening process. We can confirm that after a comprehensive review of our records, not a single job offer has ever been withdrawn based on this type of information,” he said in a statement.

On the other hand, Concentric Advisors denied the allegations and stated that their screening process determines a candidate’s susceptibility to blackmail with respect and that they have zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior.
